Description: The invention relates to an anchor rod for anchoring a component in concrete with a threaded rod, to one end of which a head is attached.
From the prior art, a generic anchor rod is known, at the head of an annular opening is provided. A hammer tip can be inserted into the opening, in order then to turn the anchor rod into a rotary motion with the aid of the hammer, so that the anchor rod can be screwed into a thread. However, because not always a hammer is ready, therefore, the operation can be hindered on a construction site.
The invention has the object to propose an anchor rod, so that in the future the screwing of the anchor rod is not delayed by missing tool.
The invention solves the problem set with a generic anchor rod in which according to the invention a head has a mouth with which an external polygon, in particular a threaded nut, is positively encompassed. Thus, with the inventive anchor rod, a threaded nut which can be screwed onto another anchor rod, are tightened. Consequently, a tool does not have to be provided for this purpose. Of course, with the anchor rod and any other threaded nut, which is screwed on a thread other than the anchor rod, are tightened.
At the end of the head and an external polygon can be attached. The external polygon can also be positively gripped by the mouth. Consequently, another anchor rod can be screwed into a thread with the head of the anchor rod. The thread can be located, for example, in a cast-in threaded sleeve. However, the external polygon can also be omitted altogether, so that the end of the head instead has a round cylindrical shape.
The mouth may have a bottleneck. This ensures that when tightening the threaded nut or when screwing in the other anchor rod, the head can not undesirably slip off the outer polygon. To attach the head to the external polygon, the narrow part of the mouth is first pushed over the threaded rod. Subsequently, the head is pushed onto the outer polygon.
At the end of the outer polygon of the threaded nut, a paragraph may be appropriate. The heel prevents the head from accidentally slipping off the nut when tightening the nut. The external polygon can preferably be a square or hexagon. It is also an external polygon possible, which has an odd number of edges.
Thus, the mouth can engage around the threaded nut form-fitting, it may have as many edges as the threaded nut, preferably four or six.
The nut may have at its one end a frustoconical cone. By the cone, the component is centered when tightening the threaded nut to the threaded rod, or to a hole in which the anchor rod is attached.
In a preferred embodiment, the cone can form the paragraph. Then the cone fulfills two functions at the same time, namely the centering of the component to anchor rod and the prevention of accidental slippage of the head of the threaded nut, when tightened.
The head can be attached to the threaded rod conveniently by welding and / or squeezing.
An exemplary embodiment of an inventive anchor rod will be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

Thus, a second anchor rod 20, which also has a threaded rod 11 and a head 12, serve as a tool to tighten with the head 12 located on the anchor rod 10 threaded nut 13 (see Fig. 2) or the second anchor rod Screw 20 into a thread not shown here. An additional tool can thus be omitted in the future. Of course, with the head 12 also other nuts, which are not screwed onto the anchor rods 10 and 20, are tightened.
The mouth 14 has a constriction 15 (see Fig. 1). The constriction 15 avoids that the plugged onto the threaded nut 13 or on the outer polygon 18 head 12 when tightening accidentally slip off the threaded nut 13 or from the outer polygon 18. If you want to plug the head 12 on the threaded nut 13 or on the outer polygon 18, the constriction 15 of the mouth 14 is first pushed over the threaded rod 11. Subsequently, the head 12 is pushed over the threaded nut 13 or over the external polygon 18 (see FIG. 2).
The outside of the threaded nut 13 and the outer polygon 18 have six edges. The mouth 14 of the head 12 also has six edges. Consequently, the mouth 14, the threaded nut 13 and the outer polygon 18 engage around a positive fit. However, the outer side of the threaded nut 13, the outer polygon 18 and the mouth can also have only four edges or more than six or an odd number of edges.
The threaded nut 13 has a shoulder 16 on which rests the head 12 of the anchor rod. The paragraph 16 thus prevents that when tightening the threaded nut 13 of the head 12 of the anchor rod 20 can slide down (see Fig. 2).
At the end of the threaded nut 13, a truncated conical cone 17 is provided. The cone 17 centers a component (not shown here in detail) when tightening the threaded nut 13 to the threaded rod 11. The cone 17 has a larger outside diameter than the outside of the threaded nut 13, so that the cone 17 forms the shoulder 16.
